Space Center Storage has been in the business of self storage since 1974 when W.R. "Bob" Sutherland opened the first mini storage facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Since that time we have grown to 12 locations with 10 in Lexington as well as stores in Shelbyville and Louisville. We are still family owned and operated. Each of our stores is staffed on site by professional and courteous managers that are trained to help you determine your self storage rental needs. Ideal storage space for furniture, art & electronics. Thermostats in temperature controlled storage areas are kept between 60 & 79 degrees.
Rental Office Hours
Many of our stores offer expanded weekend & evening hours.
24 Hour Access to your belongings
You will have 24 hour access to your storage rental through our computer controlled access gates.
Wide, well lit driveways & lights in most storage units
Plenty of room to maneuver larger vehicles like moving trucks and trailers. Our properties also have good exterior lighting and lights inside most storage units if you need to access your storage unit in the early morning or evening hours.
Closed Circuit Cameras
Helps us keep track of what is happening on our property.
We can accept deliveries in your absence
We can accept UPS, FedEx, etc. deliveries to your self storage unit in your absence. If you want us to accept deliveries, be sure and tell the manager when you rent so we can get the proper paperwork filled out.
Payment Options
We take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash & checks. We can also setup your account to automatically debit your checking account or credit card when your rent is due. We are a one stop shop for all your packing and moving needs. In addition to disc locks and boxes, we sell a variety of moving supplies such as dish packs, glass packs, mattress covers, sofa covers, packing tape, wardrobe boxes, etc.
